September is a BUSY.....

month with "many" birthday's!

Amanda Kay Zinn Goates
9-11-82

Our Family was forever changed with the birth of our fifth child Amanda Kay Zinn...... everyone LOVED her......and yes they would tease her at times with her make believe friend, "Bocca Janna" but she took it all in stride.....maybe not totally forgiving some when they took the life of Bocca Janna until she was older! :)

She was full of life from the beginning and she would reassure me when she went about socializing at the Blackhawk Pool that I should not worry as "they were her friends"! And they were. Everyone was Amanda's friend! Our neighbor, Mrs Self would come over to "visit with Amanda"! As Amanda grew up there were always friends coming and going from our house.

I would say that Amanda would do EVERYTHING and be involved in EVERYTHING if she could..

I was once told in a blessing that she would always bring me joy and that has been so true!

She worked hard for the things she wanted and she studied hard for the grades that brought her a good education.

Here are a list of words I think of when I think of Amanda!

LOVES the Lord and is willing to serve Him

in any way she can

LOVES her family.....

her husband, her son, her baby to be

her siblings, her family in law...

her friends

Serves everyone

Loves adventures

Loves good books

is kind

talented

is compassionate

is smart

is beautiful on the inside and outside

a good cook

loves to make things nice

a flair for decorating

She will read this and say to me: "you say this because you are my mother" but that is not true! (she will also make a comment on the pictures I posted below.... that they are not good!) :) We are all blessed because Amanda is in our lives. I am humbly grateful I have had the opportunity to be her mother. She does bring me much JOY!
