A brand new mother with a brand new baby!

And that change occurred......September 22, 1968 when James David Zinn entered this world and made me a MOTHER! My life would change and never be the same again! (all good things with that change!)
It has been 43 years ago when we were living in San Francisco. My baby was due the end of October and I had just returned the day before from visiting my family in Los Angeles, CA. I knew that upon my return I would start to prepare for the final month before the great event happened......but on that Sunday, in September my baby decided otherwise and came into this world, interrupting the doctors watching the San Francisco 49ers foot ball game.(they were not happy about that and kept telling me I was not going to deliver. Of course I had never had a baby before so I believed them AT FIRST!) It all happened so unexpectedly but reality also quickly set in and I now had this little red headed boy in my arms whom I was now responsible for and.....my life changed!

James is many things to each of us.
He has alway been a delight and loved, yes even when he took his already curly red hair and got a perm. He came walking in the door and my mouth dropped open when he said......"don't worry, they said if you didn't like it, it would wash out"! NOT....
James has always loved his siblings and has done much for them and has been a roll model in their lives
He has always worked hard, been involved in school and served the Lord with dedication.
So he "grew up"......
married a beautiful young woman, had two beautiful children, Meghan and Braden
He has taken on his role as uncle seriously.
Our family was able to ALL be together this past August and it was largely made possible because of james and Tam. They opened their home, they fed us well, and we were all able to play together and make fond memories.......
My heart is full and just saying:
Eight plus is enough to fill my heart with LOVE!
brings "emotions" and "feeling" to me...
it is often hard for even me to believe
that these eight children have evolved into this
beautiful family to which it is an honor to be a part of!
