HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAM :)

I hope it is a wonderful day for you from the beginning to end of the day! As I was preparing to write this birthday post I was thinking of the first time I heard her name. It was about this time twenty one years ago (i think) when I received calls from James telling me about this girl he was dating. Whenever we talked on the phone he would tell us about Tamara Nelson. At Christmas James came home and all we heard was "Tamara". I KNEW then she would be a part of our family in the near future and that transpired May 17, 1991. The first time I met Tam was at the wedding. It was all new to me.....this was the "first time" to be a mother in law and I wanted to be a "good one" but unsure of how to do that! I hope through the years and through adding spouses I am meeting my goals of what I think a "mother-in-law" should be! :)
Grant and Cameron so aptly express this thought: "we do not know James without Tamara! The two youngest children in our family thought they always "came together"! That is a complement and it shows how much a part of our family she is.
Tam is many things to each of us:
