ARE HAPPILY MARRIED!!

It was a beautiful day in Texas, sun was shinning and everything was PERFECT!

It was an amazing experience for me being the parent and to have all eight of my children together for this great event! There are "lots" of professional pictures coming and over time I was snapping a picture Grant would tell me we would have a copy of the CD to get pictures from....but I needed something NOW, something tangible to show of this day!

We arrived Friday morning to weather that was about 50 degrees warmer than it was when we left. We went to the HUGE mall in Huston, TX and hung out.....while the second car of people were picked up at the air port. I will just say it was a little interesting to get all eight of my children here.....but we did it and it was worth the laugh of the days event for it to happen. We found ourselves around the table at a restaurant enjoying the moment of being with each other!

Saturday morning arrived and we had a date for a wedding! Grant slept in a little as he was exhausted from just finishing up his finals on Friday!

It was a beautiful ceremony, a beautiful day and by all indications they will have a "beautiful life together"

As a mom I thought I would burst inside. I "love" my family very much......and I am proud of my children, their lives, their choices and who they are!

We took pictures of all the "in-laws" or as some of my children refer to as the "out-laws" and I went to post it in the next spot but when I went to my camera I did not have it. You will have to wait until the professional ones come! But my children have chosen wonderful spouses and they have given me "perfect grandchildren"! What more could a mother ask for in life?

The reception was so nice.......

Katie has a fantastic family and it was a joy to meet and get to know them a little better! We all leave Texas today and return to our perspective lives and homes. I think this weekend was a "little bit of heaven' at least for a mother. I could ask for nothing more........and YES, I can tell you

EIGHT "plus" is ENOUGH to fill MY heart with

LOVE!!
