I have had the most amazing and awesome weekend. Could not even put into words how I am feeling! Can pictures "do it"???...... I don't think so but will "try"
When Grant was returning from our family reunion in July he opted to bump his flight so he could get a free flight and come back some time......
the surprise was that he came back for the Labor Day weekend as he desired to see Eric since he left on his mission and Eric left on his two weeks before Grant's return. FOUR years was a long time. Grant brought a "friend " back with him, his friend, Katie Parker. I can tell you we have fallen in love with her! It is a good choice for a "friend"! :)
Everyone who did not come last weekend were here this weekend......
We have just hung out and played!!
With cooler temperatures and blue skies we decided it would be fun to go to the park and let the kids run off some "energy"!
I think before it was all over it was the adults who ran off "all the energy they had in them"!!

Thursday is Ryan's birthday so we took him out for ice cream to celebrate!

Soon it was time to have to say good bye......Melissa & family returned to VIN-CEN-NES., Marnie returned to Ohio, James & family to Aurora and Grant & Katie to Utah.....It is so much fun to see the four boys together all grown up (are they not so handsome!!) ......but the next picture shares my feelings!
There arms are around the "one missing brother" which makes the picture incomplete!!
Thank you Katie Parker for coming to our home this weekend.....it was so much fun to get to know you!! Thank you Eric Zinn for returning from serving an honorable mission and coming back to a family that LOVES & SUPPORTS YOU!! (and was so happy to have a reason to PARTY!

Mom, not to be "critical" but every time you write my town, you spell it wrong. It's VIN-CEN-NES. Just FYI.
