week ahead!!
Sunday came and it was time to say good bye to family in Galesburg. It was hard for me as I LOVED hanging out with everyone. I LOVE FAMILY.....but I took some "sweet memories" home with me and that is what it is all about. After church we packed up; said our good-bye" and off we went! It was so nice to have Amanda and Owen on the drive home. Owen was so GOOD and there was only one stop. Just a side note here to say THANK YOU Ben for sharing your family with us. It has been a joy to have them here and I know it is a sacrifice for you.

"Have fingers can travel"

As we drove home I filled my mind with the things that were needed to do before the return of Elder Zinn. Two years seemed like such a l o n g time but I close my eyes and it also seemed like just yesterday we were in the family room trying to figure out how to get it all in the suit case!!
Two years have brought many experiences and changes in Elder Zinn's life! I am excited to sit with him and hear, first hand the last two years of experiences he has had.
Sunday evening I would write to Elder Zinn and Monday's were so EXCITING as I anticipated all day that a letter would be waiting for me from him when I returned from work. I would read them often during the week until the next one came.
The final e-mail arrived and here it is:

Dear family and friends,

i just had my departing interview with the mission president. it was a very surreal experience. i don't know what to think. I've loved serving in this work these past two years. i will soon be home and will tell you all about it. i know that this church is true, that Jesus is the Christ, and that His church has been restored again on the earth through a living prophet. that's big. that's huge. that's everything. we need to tell people about it. I'll miss that part of the work. teaching is the best. thanks to everyone for being there for me and helping me along the way. love ya

We are busy making banners; baking cookies and feeling the excitement of his return home!

(OK.....so we don't LOOK excited, but we are......just dragging from "lack of sleep"!)

Stay tuned for the HOMECOMING PICTURES!.....

Eight (plus) is enough to fill my heart with LOVE!

Tired from a fun filled week AND wallpaper peeling!
