WEDNESDAY was an interesting.......

DAY!!

We started out with the Goates in charge of the cooking for the day and as everyone awoke to the wonderful smells of breakfast!!

All this with multiple night feedings with Owen. Amanda is like the "energizer bunny" she is up NIGHT & DAY and still does not skip a beat!

After breakfast we left for the Amicalola Falls (some did NOT even shower! :) but it is vacation, right!! We did not want to wait until it became the HEAT of the DAY!

Everyone was pumped and ready to do the trail! BUT they made the decision that "some of us" should NOT do the trail but drive up! I was highly insulted to begin with but when they met us at the top I realized that was the BEST decision someone made FOR ME! We had soda in hand sipping, waiting for their arrival!

HERE they come!

Cameron did not do so well on the hike!!! We went to the Ranger office and they gave him some thing and that made his skin hurt worse. We ended up at the Chestatee Regional Hospital where he was treated and released later. He has slept most of the day as they gave him enough to DRUG him well!!

He came home and slept and we played in the pool. I told everyone this has to be a "little heaven on Earth"! It is such a beautiful, peaceful area and of course the pool is AMAZING! I LOVE being in the sun and the water!!

YES.....that would show that even Grandpa Barry was in the water!!

As I post this some are in the pool, some are in the hot tub and the children are in bed! I tried taking pictures of the "night swim" but they all look like aliens so you will just have to "imagine" us for a "night swim"!

I said over and over today..."this is HEAVEN on Earth"!

EIGHT PLUS IS ENOUGH TO FILL MY HEART WITH LOVE!!
