It's nice to......

STEP out of your world and

INTO another........................

(even if it is only for a shot time)!

This past Friday I got up and went to work and did Fun Friday and it was a success. I always bring my camera but when I went to take pictures I realized my battery was back home on the charger! I did "Everything coming up Peanut Butter" and it was successful.......

After work I ran home for just a minute to change my clothes and pack up the car for I was going to meet my newest grandchild and I was EXCITED!!

It was so cloudy and cold when I left Ft. Wayne but after Indianapolis the sun was shinning and as I drove here.....it was so much warmer. Actually such a beautiful day and such a beautiful world to enjoy on the drive down.

I was anxious to arrive but I am dealing with all this "disc" mess in my back so I did stop a number of times just to WALK around for a few minutes.

BUT finally......I arrived and was greeted by Trevor as soon as I pulled in the drive way! (Kayla was with Debbie as she was helping her prepare for the baby shower)

Trevor LOVES to play with his uncles but it was "only ME" here so he resorted to playing with Grandma Barb. Trevor is so full of life and just loves every adventure there is. ...... EVERYTHING is an adventure. Trevor asked his mom to build this lego set with him and she took time out of a very busy and tired state to do it!! He was so EXCITED and happy to have it completed....then he took it apart and did it his way...

It is so much fun just to be here and to meet Savannah......she is a "doll".....so tiny and dainty and delicate!

I could just do this all day long......Actually I did do it most of Friday evening!

I "love" babies but especially babies that are in our families!!

Saturday was a beautiful, warm, sunny day. One of Melissa's good friends gave her a baby shower and it was fun to be here and attend it!

This is Debbie and her daughter behind her are the ones who did the shower for her!

Melissa received some really nice things for Savannah.....but you know, a girl can never have too many clothes! :)

There was friends who came to celebrate her arrival....

there was good food to eat

and more good food!

We sat around and visited for awhile then it was home to play some more......

I played bayblades with Trevor.

Then I did Magic Fabric with Kayla.......

It was dinner time........"tubby time" and bed time...for everyone but Savannah! She decided to stay up most of the night but did try out her bed early in the evening!
