work and it is finally finished! (the bathroom that is!)

Here it is.......the picture with the clock is to share that we finished at 3:10 AM Saturday morning! Cameron and I worked through the night to make it happen!! Then the rest of the house had to be put back together......from the "days and days" of scrapping three layers of wall paper.

It was a very L O N G and challenging project for such a "small" room!
I taught my SS lesson yesterday and it was on trials....this room was a simple analogy of the things I studied for my lesson. I got into the project and wanted to S T O P! I just wanted to go back to the "old" together pink flower wall paper bathroom but once we started there was no turning back. We got through the pink rose bud and thought GREAT now to the walls.....only there was blue flower wall paper under the pink......so we continued on and was a little more tired from this experience but after the blue we were expecting to see plain wall and NO there was some very ugly red and green (yes that is right.....a Christmas bathroom! :) ! ) and now we were really TIRED and we really wanted to Q U I T! ENOUGH.....but we were too far into this to say that so we carried forth.......then in the wee hours of Saturday morning.......a new looking bathroom emerged and it was awesome.......I continue to stop at the door and admire this room that has now transformed from what it was into something much better.....
so any wonder after studying all week about trials and going though them I would relate to this experience!
We are getting CLOSE to even more FUN as the family starts to arrive Wednesday....and continues over the next couple of days! It will be so much F U N to have Grant here even if it is only for a few days and for the majority of the family coming to be "together"! This is the joy of the journey for ME!
