BEEN???
Somedays I wonder the same thing! :)
Was Christmas not just last week?
OK....so close my eyes and it went from December to March!

BUT: it has been a BUSY time in the Zinn household and "each blink" brings something else into my life!
January came and I had an "assignment" at work that is taking me through the end of March with it.  We are doing a remodel with our store and it is what they call "PFresh".....which means produce fresh will be coming to Target on March 25th.  It does not seem like major remodeling when you look at the store but it has been a big undertaking to install the new freezers, which meant to redo all of the back room, market and the list goes on.  I was assigned to be the "PFresh training captain". It has been a growing experience for me.  Looking back at the past few months (it started Dec 26th) to now I realize I have learned a lot, and as with anything in life, I wish I knew then what I know now! Oh how much easier it would have been!   This project has allowed me to be in the office full time and I have enjoyed it immensely. It is back to the "real world" of the sales floor in just a couple of weeks but I will take with me a few new tools I have learned!
I took a little time off from work the end of January to spend a few days with the Goates as Amanda was having a few complications with her pregnancy.  I wish I could have stayed longer just to PLAY with Owen.  He goes from the time he wakes up until he goes to sleep at night with the exception on an hour nap (OK....so YES, I did take that time to REST during his hour nap!)
                                               Owen is all about   a d v e n t u r e!
February brought the anticipation of having Savannah's 1st birthday party at our home.  We have had the privilege of having each of the Lough children 1st birthday at our home and have savored those memories. James, Tam, Meghan, Braden came for the fun event and most of Ryan's family was at the party Saturday evening!
I loved the cake but not when it got in my eye!
So you would think a first birthday party would be enough excitement for one weekend but not in the Zinn household.
Amanda decided to have Ava 2 weeks early so on February 16th this beautiful baby girl came into the world!
What a beautiful Ava just waiting for Grandma Barb to hold her!!

A new Grand daughter arrived, a first birthday for Savannah,...... that is a lot in two days....but there was more to come!
On February 18th Eric proposed to Irene and a July wedding is in the making
at the Nauvoo Temple (such special memories for me in Nauvoo..it will be exciting!)
I overheard someone say...... "this has been an eventful weekend and I don't think anything more could be squeezed into one weekend"..... under my breath I said......"oh there can be!" and shortly after that statement Grant & Katie posted........
There will be a grand baby # 11 to come into our family in September

SO MANY GOOD THINGS........all in 48 hours!! :)
I had a Bishop ,whom I dearly loved, and he would say: "Barb, you have to have GOOD times to get you through the bad times"....and I was so glad we had so many good things because we got some food poisoning from the food that was purchased for Savannah's birthday..... I was the FIRST to get sick and the rest followed...... most everyone who attended and ate the food was S I C K!  I did not go to work Monday and only a couple hours Tuesday then drug through the rest of the week.  By Thursday I thought I might "live" so once that happened I knew what the weekend would hold for ME.......????????
A trip to Columbus OH to meet this beautiful grand daughter and she was everything I knew she would be...... She just fit right into my arms!

Such a beautiful baby.  Her mother has every head band and bow imaginable to
accent her wardrobe!   It sure beats the little bows I would make and tape into the hair.
beautiful, beautiful Ava

What fun to be with Owen & Ava
of course it is always good to see Amanda and Ben but lets face it
the drawing card is those two beautiful grandchildren!
Last weekend was MINE......and I needed to give some personal attention to my house....
I worked hard and then  had a friends grand daughter's wedding to go to.  I was taking pictures to get some ideas for Eric & Irene's wedding......

I came home from he wedding and had a few things more to do with the cleaning up of my home when there was a knock on my door.....SURPRISE, Ryan, Kayla, Trevor and Savannah came to visit with us for little bit.  Ryan came back for a friends father's funeral and they came by to say HI!  It was fun to visit with them for a few hours.  Glad they came by for a visit

Dr. Suess' had his Birthday this month and Target does a reading program at the store and we also go  into some of the classrooms to read to children in the Ft. Wayne area schools.
Jerilyn and I had the privilege to go to a special needs school and read to the children.  We went to  the same school last year and it is an amazing experience.

This little girl is Lilly.... she is the daughter of our Store Manager and she knows us well
We walked into the school and she became very shy but se knew where we worked and
who we were!

we went to Lilly's morning class and back to the afternoon class to read.
What beautiful children
what special teachers who
care!
That pretty much catches you up on what is happening here..... I am so filled with the blessings that are in my life.  I have an abundance because of my children and their lives so remember:

EIGHT "plus" is ENOUGH to fill MY heart with LOVE!
