January will soon be over and I have not made any postings since New Year's Day!
I am just beginning to recover from Christmas 2011 and feel alive again!!
Each year I say that this was the "worse" Christmas in the terms of retail and even thought I THINK it cannot get worse, I am proven wrong. I think it is a combination of people getting worse and I am a year older!
It just makes me appreciate all that I have all the more!
There have been the continual Fun Friday with January being a theme of Let it SNOW!
I missed the "last" Fun Friday in January as I had an unexpected trip to Ohio..... it may have been "unexpected" but it was a "treat" to be there. Rumor has it Fun Friday last week was hot chocolate & packaged donuts. Hopefully they missed me! :) IF not I am going to simplify much more.
I am working on a special project for the next two months with work. We are getting (what Target calls) PFresh. It is a remodel of our store that will end up giving us a much bigger line of grocery's. Our shoe department remodeled and baby department. They will redo the back room to accommodate the freezers. I will be in charge of the "training" to which everyone in the store has to go through so I am working in the office for the next two months. I was sitting in the office by myself on Tuesday and I had an overwhelming prompting to go and H E L P Amanda as there were a few more complications for her to deal with. I cleared it with those in charge and I left work after 2 hours there. I came home, threw a few things in a suit case and off I went to Columbus. I arrived shortly before Amanda was returning from the hospital and I was able to spend the week with owen.
All week I thought about the gift we have with the promptings and what it means to us and the help that it gives us in life. I am so grateful for this guidance in my life.
I enjoyed doing lots of things with Owen and learning a little more about the daily schedule Amanda handles. This little boy is BUSY for the time he gets up until the time he goes to bed.
Owen has a love for ANY electronics. If I had to SIT for a moment all I would have to do is give him my phone and he would intensely sit there and play with it. When I did not want to SIT for a moment I had to make sure it stayed in my pocket!
We took a walk around the block and yes, even outside Owen has ONE speed and that is FAST!
In his hand are "special people" and I took a picture of them. I quickly learned about each one as these are Owen's favorite toys to play with......

A venture to Target always means a "SMOOOOOTHIE! He drinks and Marnie and I shopped. |
