Was almost a month ago but I wanted to post about it......

| after work we went out to eat then came home and Eric tried to set the house on fire with all the candles needed to celebrate my age!
I received L O T S of nice things......books, cd, movie, shoes, clothes, jewelry, Panara gift card, pedometer (which I love and can see how many miles I walk at work)...........(the other gifts are at the end of this story)
Two years ago Christmas vacation I came home from work and there was a large glass jar on my bakers rack which said "mom's mattress fund"! Melissa & Ryan had been sleeping in my room and said I needed a fund to buy a new mattress. Mine was only about 15 years old! :) Every time someone came to visit they contributed to the fund and of course I added to it each week! I was very diligent at doing this and the goal was within sight.....then we had our family trip to Georgia and I needed to take the entire jar of change and cash it in for the trip to Georgia....... IT WAS EMPTY! but I assured them I would build it back up and I was diligent at putting all my change in it! (then two generous checks came in my birthday cards AND) My jar of change was full! With Cameron's help I took it to the bank and cashed it in. I had ENOUGH to get a mattress! I looked and looked at mattresses and finally found one that would work for me!

I KNOW, I know these pictures do not look any different than the old ones I had taken when I redid my bedroom but I can tell you they are. I cannot even show you the mattresses when we first brought it home.. When I came home from work that day it was all set up! Cameron and his friend went to the furniture store when the mattress came in and picked it up, took out the old one and set up the new one, made the bed and it was ready for me to try out after I had finished Fun Friday! So now, you are waiting to hear how wonderful I slept that first night on my new mattress! NOT!! I kept waking up.....and waking up because I did not SINK into the mattress.....it was nice and firm. It was a terrible night sleep, but the next night was better and now I LOVE my new mattress and I sleep very well....... What an awesome and amazing family I have! THANK YOU ALL FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY!
James Birthday is the day after mine....... I wanted to post a picture of one of the gifts I gave him. When he moved into his new home he had a "wilbur room" that was a small room in the down stairs. His Grandpa had an amazing and fun filled basement with many things to "explore" with and as boys they LOVED to go in the basement with Grandpa! I found this picture of James with his Grandpa Wilbur to whom he named his room for. I thought it would be a cute idea to have this framed picture to put of him and "wilbur" in his Wilbur Room!
EIGHT plus is ENOUGH to FILL my HEART with LOVE!
