GRATITUDE!......in 2010
One might ask "where have I been?"
I "love" to blog with stories of my children......so to answer the question of where have I been??

I can honestly say that I have "little to NO" spare times these days........
My life consists of "working" doing Fun Friday and studying for my Sunday Gospel Doctrine Class. I thought I would work into it a little better and it would become "easier" but not so far! It is one of the most challenging, overwhelming and GROWING callings I have had in the church. The past few weeks have been somewhat better.....note I did NOT say "easier" I said "better". A BIG difference! And what made the difference?????? I gave everyone a note book the first Sunday and asked them to spend 10 or 20 minutes each Sunday after church to write their thoughts and feelings from the lesson that
week. The second week I challenged everyone to re-read their patriarchal blessing My blessing was given to me November 23, 1962 and I thought I knew it by heart but I was greatly wrong! There was a single word said twice that jumped out at me........"I would have the PRIVILEGE of serving and assisting...... I am sure we all know what the word PRIVILEGE means but I looked it up anyway....privilege is a special advantage or benefit not enjoyed by all" I humbly approach each lesson......as a privilege now!

Amanda and Ben came this weekend with a "purpose" and that was to pick up the VERY OLD (sorry Kay!) Chiffrobe dresser for this new son that will join their home in April!
The dresser doesn't look like much but right now but I can tell you that Amanda and Ben will transform it into something BEAUTIFUL! :)

Stay tuned for the second chapter of the dresser when it is completed.........
I do feel so humbly grateful for all that is in my life! :)

Amanda looks great!
I wondered about it fitting into a car . . . looks like they made it.
Were you finished w/the banner?

wow, I look terrible! ha! That's too funny. I'm excited to get started on the dresser though but I told Ben I want the walls done first :)
