scanning old pictures into my computer of you made 'yesterday' seem like it was just yesterday.
Only a mother could totally understand that thought........
You came into this world on a cold winter day..... yesterday??????
why of course!!
(not 23 years ago)
we had a terrible winter storm a day after you were born which cause everything to shut down!
It just allowed more time for our family to be together and to celebrate the beginning of your life here upon this earth. How much fun it was to have so many older brothers and sisters who loved you and wanted to share their love with you :)
What can be said about Cameron????????
first thing that comes to my mind is YOU were always a
HAPPY child
You always had a ZEST for life
when it was sports related
you were
extremely
HAPPY!
You lived the part wether it was putting on a football uniform
playing baseball
street hockey
basketball
soccer
it did not matter.... you lived the part and played the game!
I would often think you would have been so much better off
with a mother who understood sports better than I did but
you would be patient and EXPLAIN it all to me and I
would try hard to understand what you were telling me!
I would say you were a blessed child to be #8 in our family!!
You had so many older siblings who loved, taught
and helped take care
of you!

I had to go to work when you were just a baby! I was home with you during the day and would work at nights. Your sisters would take care of you and you would not
want to go to bed. Melissa thought about the situation and decided she had the answer
She would put you down in the crib and give you my nightgown after she had sprayed it with my perfume! That was the answer.......you felt like
I was holding you and would go right to sleep.
You LOVED to play
and had an imagination that would
make you a part of the adventure!
You aways AWAITED the day you could do the things your
older siblings were doing and when you turned 3 years old
you were able to attend Bunche Montessori School
That made you HAPPY
to go to school.....
of course everyone at the school already knew you because
we went there a lot for Grant.
You waited to attend Suzuki music as a praticipant instead of a spectator
You waited to play basketball at Bunche instead of watching!
there were also disadvantages because by the time
it was YOUR turn you had experienced
most of it.
when you finally could play T ball you
were far above the other children on your team
and you went like a pro with
batting glove in hand and
a seriousness the other
kids did not have for the sport yet!

you LOVED the anticipation and excitement of
your birthday
I remember the birthday you told all your friends
at Bunche you were having a party
and the parents starting calling me
about the details
Your sisters came 'saved the day' and
talked me into having that party you
had already invited your friends to
They helped me put it together at the last minute
and it was a success!

when Meghan came into our family you took suckers to kindergarden and
told everyone you were an Uncle. all your friends said
"NO you are NOT an uncle"!
but you assured them you were and you
took your role serious
of being a good uncle to Meghan

| despite many health issues you graduated from Snider High School and off to IPFW WORKING SCHOOL PLAY all incorporate your life today |
This is such an exciting time in your life......
You have the world ahead of you!

and opportunities awaits you!
how grateful I am for you Cameron and for the 'fun' you still bring into this home!
